August 2013 - Envelope Films
We finally got a chance to give the new Blackmagic Cinema Camera a test shoot! Written in half an hour and about a man in a dressing gown finding tangerines in the woods, our test shoot won’t win any awards, but it was a great way to learn the camera. Thanks so much to actor Andrew Cullimore and film maker Richard Addlesee for helping out on the fun shoot.
Gearing for our music video shoot with The M’Goo Project in September, Envelope Films travelled down to London to meet the West End dancers and view the choreography created by Matthew Holland. We were absolutely blown away by the choreography and the performance and can’t wait till the shoot! Now we just have to work out a way of making it all work in the location….
After months of waiting, Envelope Films has finally received a new Blackmagic Cinema Camera! Revolutionising image capture, the camera has some incredible specs, including 13 stops of dynamic range and 2.5k RAW recording. Looking forward very much to testing it out and using it on future jobs.

Envelope Films were really proud to have worked with Ben Williams to produce a music video to raise awareness for the charity Centre Point. Centre Point are dedicated to help put children’s lives back on track after adversity. The video was filmed in Chorlton’s community arts venue, The Edge Theatre and features Ben’s song, Too Cold For Snow. The video is pitched for a christmas release.
